My audition was nerve-wracking. I had never been on stage before and there were quite a few people there for a Tuesday. My boss told me to go ahead and watch some of the girls and what I could and could not do; nipple tweaking, touching the labia ect. He also asked for y name- which was taken!!! That threw me off too because the girl already named Trinity is the QUEEN of pole tricks.
I didn’t know the first thing about dancing and here I was, surrounded by 8 beautiful girls that were all graceful and beautiful…and were about to watch me make a fool of myself. I didn’t get to quietly audition during closed hours. Nope, I got to audition during a normal rotation while our boss ANNOUNCED that I was a complete noob. I tried to be pretend to be super confident though.
To be honest, I don’t remember much of the actual dance itself. Kinda like when you get drunk and can only vaguely remember what happened. I was more nervous AFTER my dance than before though- did I do well?? Was I hired?? Would the other girls like me???
I was offered the job and worked the first night. I wasn’t NEARLY as nervous after they told me I was hired to dance. The audition is the toughest part I think. Just remember to smile, be yourself and be confident. Even if you have to fake it.

Thank you so much for ur advice it got to me just in time the night before my audition :) It was exactly what I needed to hear so thank you.
My audition went great as soon as I walked in the building my nerves were gone I had a great time dancing and ended up working the entire night. It was a different experience than I was expecting but for the better.
A lot of the men really just wanted like companionship it was nice cuz I really enjoy talking to people. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that I got hired had a great time and wanted to say thank you for all of your advice.

I’m about to turn 18 and was wondering about becoming a dancer. My parents sent me to a university to do pre-med but I hate it and would love a job like this.
I’m a 5′4 size 0 with a small waist and 32C boobs, but I think I have big/thick legs that are not as long and thin as I perceive most girls have.
I was wondering if you think this would be a job for me.

Its mia here, Trinity has been busy so I will answer for you. When you go for an audition you don’t really have to pole dance on most places, but use the pole as an accessory while you dance. Some places will expect more others less
So you need to just audition and see how it goes. You can always take classes

Just be yourself. I feel sexiest when I’m having fun and when YOU feel sexy, everyone thinks you’re sexy too. Talking is hard sometimes, mostly because its just idle chatter but if you ask them about themselves or maybe share something funny, it gets easier to open up!

I am trying to break into dancing as a part time job…I go to school full time 4 days a week..I love dancing and moving my hips (which are a little wide if you ask me) I however am not versed in pole dancing and know like 3 moves….Im also concerned about my body Im 5′3 and 118 pounds 36B ..I am not a stick and Im worried about that!! Should I lose some weight before I audition?? Im Irish so im also very white…should I go to the tanning salon?

It all depends on if you want too
The lights in the club will generally be dim and my club has a lot of different lighting that can make you seem more tan than you are, no salon required! And Bobbie is right too, pale is also beautiful!
As for your size, you sound perfect to me! You’re shoes will give you a height boost so don’t worry about that. Your shoes will be about 3-8 inches and that will length the appearance of you’re frame.
I don’t think you need to lose any weight at all. In our club we have girls of all shapes and sizes, so just rock yours! If you’re one of the only shorter ones, use it. It will make you distinct and that gives you an edge too

I actually have a really weird question. I am a new dancer at Trixie’s Gold Room in Louisville, KY. I went in, filled out the app. and turned it in…I was then asked right after I turned it in when I could start. I told them ASAP. I was in the next day dancing. Now, is this a bad thing? Does this make it a bad club? I mean, he told me that I was hot. So I don’t know if that was the reason. Louisville also just passed a new crazy law were strippers can’t strip anymore. A strip ordinance. No getting naked. Maybe he just hired me for my face, I have a good body. But I was just curious. Thought that maybe that would help… Anyways, I looking forward to hearing your answer soon!
Okay, so now that they have a lot of videos out on how to pole dance. Are they expecting to see auditioning/new dancers on the pole doing tricks? because, I’m always dancing in-front of a mirror to practice but when & if i get an audition I’m kinda nerves if they are expecting to see pole action. Also, would that affect my tips?

I’, not sure what that might mean. I started dancing the night I auditioned and there were no applications necessary. If your boss starts coming on to you, then you have your answer but Id see how it goes for a while. Hopefully it goes well for you!!

My club doesn’t require you to do pole tricks and I haven’t heard of a club that does. Your tips really depend on the crowd and mood of your guests. Some days I’ll make a little more if I do some cool tricks and some days I make more if I just shake my butt and make a silly face. No lie. Do what you feel comfortable with

Trinity, i’ve been thinking about becoming a stripper because i’m not making NEARLY enough money at my part time job, and this seems like a kind of job i’d really enjoy and have a lot of fun doing. As for the actual dancing, i have no idea where to start. I’ve had my boyfriend ask for lapdances before and i couldn’t even do that, because i just was so uninformed of what to do. I’ve been a performer and dancer, just never exotic of any sort. Once learned, i would have no problem doing it. I’m just lost at this point.

I think you should not worry about the dancing part which you will pick up when watching the other girls at work. I found this to be the best way

Just move to the music an ignore anyone there.Just use the pole as an accessory to hld and turn yourself around and take your clothes off slowly and sensuosly. That will be enough for most clubs

Loads of girls have stretchmarks and most can behidden with make up if they are really bad. Also it is dark there so you will be great.
Just go in with confidenc and they will be more interested in the rest of you rather then your stretchmarks

Hi ive been considering becoming a dancer while i was prego and now my son is 2 weeks old and dancing seems like the best choice. My only issues are for one i breastfeed and my boyfriend isnt totaly on board. How do i assure him that im all his and have him get over the issue of another man seeing my body? Any advice on my son?
