Stripper auditions

If you are thinking of how to become a stripper, then this new series of Trinity’s is great as you can see how a real life “normal” girl goes from non stripper to stripper. She is new and tells it like it is. You can Read about Trinity from the beginning at Trinit’s how to become a stripper.

Trinity was kind enough to tell us here audition process and her first dance on stage…This is one of the scariest times, is you are not a dancer and an “ordinary girls like us. So here is what Trinity wrote -

My audition was nerve-wracking. I had never been on stage before and there were quite a few people there for a Tuesday. My boss told me to go ahead and watch some of the girls and what I could and could not do; nipple tweaking, touching the labia ect. He also asked for y name- which was taken!!! That threw me off too because the girl already named Trinity is the QUEEN of pole tricks.

I didn’t know the first thing about dancing and here I was, surrounded by 8 beautiful girls that were all graceful and beautiful…and were about to watch me make a fool of myself. I didn’t get to quietly audition during closed hours. Nope, I got to audition during a normal rotation while our boss ANNOUNCED that I was a complete noob. I tried to be pretend to be super confident though.

To be honest, I don’t remember much of the actual dance itself. Kinda like when you get drunk and can only vaguely remember what happened. I was more nervous AFTER my dance than before though- did I do well?? Was I hired?? Would the other girls like me???

I was offered the job and worked the first night. I wasn’t NEARLY as nervous after they told me I was hired to dance. The audition is the toughest part I think. Just remember to smile, be yourself and be confident. Even if you have to fake it.

Thanks Trinity…she will answer your questions if you have any. Trinity You Rock girl!

Okay I have a question should I be asking to give lap dances ect. Before and after being on stage? At the club I work at a lot of girls just sit in the dressing rooms. Thanks! Ps ur audition sounds exactly like mine.

  9. orchid on December 22nd, 2010 3:49 pm

    Hey, Trinity
You writing about your journey has been very helpful because i want to be a stripper also but im a HUGE beginner, i cant even dance for a whole song i get tired and i never even been on a pole before. So for your audition did you have to dance on the pole?

  10. misha on December 29th, 2010 4:41 am

    Hey Mia,
I’m about to turn 18 and was wondering about becoming a dancer. My parents sent me to a university to do pre-med but I hate it and would love a job like this.
I’m a 5′4 size 0 with a small waist and 32C boobs, but I think I have big/thick legs that are not as long and thin as I perceive most girls have.
I was wondering if you think this would be a job for me.

  11. mia how to become a stripper on January 7th, 2011 10:49 am

    Hi Orchid
Its mia here, Trinity has been busy so I will answer for you. When you go for an audition you don’t really have to pole dance on most places, but use the pole as an accessory while you dance. Some places will expect more others less
So you need to just audition and see how it goes. You can always take classes

    Good luck
    Mia xx

  12. mia how to become a stripper on January 7th, 2011 10:50 am

    Hi Misa

Your body seems perfectly fine, just go and audition to try it and see if you like it, you may hate this too

Give it a go – you have the body for it
    Good luck

Hey girls!!! I’m back and ready to write some more, I do apologize for the long delay though- life tends to get in the way! :(

So question time! What do you girls want to read about next?!

    Hi Trinity
Just been reading all your stuff and I am thinking about becoming a dancer too. Your stuff makes it seem approachable and doable
How do you make yourself feel sexy and chatty every night? Is that hard?
I am quite shy and don’t talk much till i really get to know people, so would really like your input

  15. Trinity on January 19th, 2011 7:36 am

Just be yourself. I feel sexiest when I’m having fun and when YOU feel sexy, everyone thinks you’re sexy too. Talking is hard sometimes, mostly because its just idle chatter but if you ask them about themselves or maybe share something funny, it gets easier to open up!

  16. Mandy on February 10th, 2011 7:15 pm

    Hey Trin!!!
I am trying to break into dancing as a part time job…I go to school full time 4 days a week..I love dancing and moving my hips (which are a little wide if you ask me) I however am not versed in pole dancing and know like 3 moves….Im also concerned about my body Im 5′3 and 118 pounds 36B ..I am not a stick and Im worried about that!! Should I lose some weight before I audition?? Im Irish so im also very white…should I go to the tanning salon?
    thank yu

  17. Bobbie on March 15th, 2011 4:43 pm

Im pale as a ghost and several customers, “guests” say its beautiful.
no tanning for me : )

  18. Trinity on March 31st, 2011 6:12 pm

It all depends on if you want too :) The lights in the club will generally be dim and my club has a lot of different lighting that can make you seem more tan than you are, no salon required! And Bobbie is right too, pale is also beautiful!

As for your size, you sound perfect to me! You’re shoes will give you a height boost so don’t worry about that. Your shoes will be about 3-8 inches and that will length the appearance of you’re frame.

I don’t think you need to lose any weight at all. In our club we have girls of all shapes and sizes, so just rock yours! If you’re one of the only shorter ones, use it. It will make you distinct and that gives you an edge too :)

Good luck, let me know how it goes!!!

I actually have a really weird question. I am a new dancer at Trixie’s Gold Room in Louisville, KY. I went in, filled out the app. and turned it in…I was then asked right after I turned it in when I could start. I told them ASAP. I was in the next day dancing. Now, is this a bad thing? Does this make it a bad club? I mean, he told me that I was hot. So I don’t know if that was the reason. Louisville also just passed a new crazy law were strippers can’t strip anymore. A strip ordinance. No getting naked. Maybe he just hired me for my face, I have a good body. But I was just curious. Thought that maybe that would help… Anyways, I looking forward to hearing your answer soon!

  22. Beas on May 4th, 2011 9:52 am

Okay, so now that they have a lot of videos out on how to pole dance. Are they expecting to see auditioning/new dancers on the pole doing tricks? because, I’m always dancing in-front of a mirror to practice but when & if i get an audition I’m kinda nerves if they are expecting to see pole action. Also, would that affect my tips?

I’m so glad!!! I wish you the best!!

  26. Trinity on May 27th, 2011 4:15 am

I’, not sure what that might mean. I started dancing the night I auditioned and there were no applications necessary. If your boss starts coming on to you, then you have your answer but Id see how it goes for a while. Hopefully it goes well for you!!

  27. Trinity on May 27th, 2011 4:17 am

My club doesn’t require you to do pole tricks and I haven’t heard of a club that does. Your tips really depend on the crowd and mood of your guests. Some days I’ll make a little more if I do some cool tricks and some days I make more if I just shake my butt and make a silly face. No lie. Do what you feel comfortable with :)

    Trin<3 Good luck!!

  28. Trinity on May 27th, 2011 4:18 am

Many of the girls in my club have children. Its not really an issue unless you have problems getting a sitter. Good luck!

  29. Dima on June 4th, 2011 9:42 pm

Trinity, i’ve been thinking about becoming a stripper because i’m not making NEARLY enough money at my part time job, and this seems like a kind of job i’d really enjoy and have a lot of fun doing. As for the actual dancing, i have no idea where to start. I’ve had my boyfriend ask for lapdances before and i couldn’t even do that, because i just was so uninformed of what to do. I’ve been a performer and dancer, just never exotic of any sort. Once learned, i would have no problem doing it. I’m just lost at this point.

  30. Elena on June 5th, 2011 9:39 am

hey trinity I went and asked about auditions they told me to come in whenever but im really nervous about the stage dance what do I do when I get up there were do I start??
Do you have any advice or what did you do?

  31. Ayana on June 13th, 2011 5:15 am

    Hi Trinity

You have given me confidence to actually try to be a dancer. But i have a question for you. I have a 10month old daughter and i still have stretch marks from my pregnancy, will that interfere with my audition and the way that men look at me?

    Hi Dima

It is Mia here and I thought I will answer your questions as Trinity is probably busy at the moment.
I think you should not worry about the dancing part which you will pick up when watching the other girls at work. I found this to be the best way

    Good luck
    Mia xx

  35. mia on how to become a Stripper on September 7th, 2011 6:48 am

    Hi Elena

Just move to the music an ignore anyone there.Just use the pole as an accessory to hld and turn yourself around and take your clothes off slowly and sensuosly. That will be enough for most clubs
    Good luck
    Mia xx

  36. mia on how to become a Stripper on September 7th, 2011 6:49 am

    Hi Ayana

Loads of girls have stretchmarks and most can behidden with make up if they are really bad. Also it is dark there so you will be great.
Just go in with confidenc and they will be more interested in the rest of you rather then your stretchmarks
    Good luck
    Mia xx

  44. Claire on June 21st, 2012 8:07 am

I have been keeping up with this blog. I have been contemplating for a year becoming a stripper and finally am going in to audition tomorrow night. Wish me luck! I am so incredibly nervous, I really hope I get it! I’ve been researching the profession for the last year, practicing, and ordering outfits. It took me so long to audition because I wanted to make sure this is absolutely the profession for me before making the decision. After much reading, I am finally ready! I wanted to thank you all so much for your advice and tips! It has really helped build my confidence. I will keep you posted on how my audition goes. Thanks again!!!!

  45. Claire on June 22nd, 2012 11:04 am

So I had my audition tonight, and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Let me tell you, NOTHING can prepare you for what it’s like to take your top off in front of a room full of people other than to just do it for the first time. Like Trinity, for my audition I just got thrown into the normal rotation for a song. I know I was really nervous, and I think my problem was I let it show too much. I still got tipped lots, so I thought I did ok, but I’m thinking I didn’t do so well after all :( From what I’ve read online they tell you immediately after the audition if you are hired, and if they tell you the “we’ll give you a call” excuse that means they’re not interested. Is that true? If so, then I didn’t get the job, which is a major bummer. :( if that is code for you didn’t get the job, then why can’t they just tell you that instead of waste your time? If I have the balls to get up in front of everyone and take my top off, then they should have the balls to be honest with me!

  46. Jessica on June 22nd, 2012 10:13 pm

I love reading posts like this! very inspirational, I have always thoiugt about being one but have never had the confidence to go out and do it! Are there any tips for a “complete noob” like me? i have never done anything like this but I feel this would be amazing and so liberating, plus makes more money than waiteressing….
p.s. if you can email me back that would be awesome….

  47. Megan on August 21st, 2012 4:58 pm

Hi Mia and Trinity! You are both so sweet for answering all of the crazy questions we have! :) I am 5′1 and I weigh 120 C36 and am very pale! I have always been told I have a great body, very curvy with big boobs, but I’m so short and I feel like I would look silly, like a child or something.. Lol. I mainly am toned for my arms and legs, although my bum and belly could
Use a little flattening which I suck at doing. I am so nervous to call the few places I have looked into. I don’t know how to start the covo.. Are you hiring? What’s the audition like?!? I don’t know where to start.

  48. curious on August 27th, 2012 9:42 pm

Hi Mia and Trinity, I have been to a strip club off the 5 freeway when I was 18. I danced on stage for my birthday. There was two men around the stage, the club was slow. I only got a few dollar bills, I wasn’t sexy and I took my clothes off to fast. I have small boobs, I wear a 32A bra, a guy told me I have little chichi’s. I’m 20, I’m broke and I am looking for a job. Here are my two questions. 1. If I become a stripper, will future employers be able to see that I stripped? And 2. And how do I be safe in a strip club?

  49. Jess on September 20th, 2012 4:39 am

Hi, My name is Jess. Any who I was thinking of dancing on the weekends to make some money to pay off student loans. I have zero experience and barely enough strength to do any kind of pole trick only like 2. I am 5′2′ and 125 pounds and want to audition. The problem is I do not know if I would be hired as I know nothing really. What should I do to stand out or be hired. I am nervous that I will be laughed at or just told no. What should I do?

  50. Jess on September 20th, 2012 4:40 am

I needed to correct myself I ment I am 135 pounds…sorry hit wrong number. I do have a nice bottom and 32 D boobs. How doI use this to my advantige?

  51. Moriah on November 29th, 2012 9:25 pm

    Hi ya’ll!

I was wondering,…. what do you do when you have really thick & dark pubic hair and you get irratation if you shave more than twice a week. I know clubs are dark and it should help, but sometimes lights are bright on stage. I’ve tried the shaving gel Coochy and the Coochy afterspray which did help significantly. Are there any other tips, tricks or helpful hints? ;) Thanks so much!

  52. Kayla on November 29th, 2012 10:33 pm

    Hey guys!
    I’m 20, and a friend and I are deeply considering getting into… *ahem*… “DANCING” ;P
I have a couple questions for you.
I’m VERY shy. Very very shy. The only times you’ll catch me dancing are alone in my bedroom, or if I’ve been indulging in some liquid courage. How do you think I could learn to get past that fear? Are all auditions on stage during normal rounds?

I’m trying to find decent places in my area that aren’t (excuse my lack of a better term) trashy. Any advice on that, or what to look for? I don’t want creepy old dudes being able to grope me, or anything, if you’re catching my drift.

I have SO many questions. If it would be easier, one of you is more than welcome to contact me via email :3
    Thank you for your help!

I didn’t have to audition they just gave me the job. And i had to just jump on stage with out any expieriance or even seeing how strippers danced. I’m really over whelmed I don’t know how to dance and the girls are all extremely fantastic dancers. They make fun of me and stuff but I really wanna learn. Any tips on dancing and giving lap dances?
