Ok, so lets get down to money.
Your Stripper income will come in from a few different ways whilst working in the clubs.
Stripper Income 1. Dances.
This type of stripper income is earned basically by walking over approaching customers and asking them if they would like a private dance, meaning a lap dance. Always smile and make eye contact, there is nothing worse to turn a guy off than a bored or blank expression in a girls eyes.
At many clubs this type of stripper income i.e. private dances will make up a substantial part of your nightly income. Some girls just use this one method to earn all there income.
Lets do the math together.
Say you get paid $20 per dance and do 2 dances per hour.
Say you work an 8 hour shift, then over all thats 16 dances at $20 per dance.
So your total income is 16 dances x$20 per dance = $320 (less club fees)
Some clubs will charge a house fee i.e. a set fee girls have to pay for example $60 per night, while other clubs will
take a percentage off the girls income say 25%. Do not obsess over these fees too much, because a good club may charge more but it will be worth it.
So from our example above say the club charged a house fee of $60 and took a 25% fee from you,
Your take home pay would be $320 – $60(house fee) – $65 (25% fee) = $195 per night.
If you worked 5 days per week and earned $195 per night, in just one year you would earn $50,700/year and thats just doing a basic 2 dances per hour.
Stripper Income 2. Vip or Private Rooms.
The second stripper income tip is making money from what I call ’sits downs’. Basically a lot of clubs(not all) have a vip or private area where guys can pay you by the hour for your company or to ’sit down’ with you.
For the customer to pay for the priviledge of your company they usually have to buy a bottle of champagne and then pay an agreed hourly rate with you. I have charged anything upto $500 per hour for the vip room, some clubs may put a limit on the charge per hour, it varies from club to club.
As its usually a little darker and private in the vip rooms, some men can become a little frisky, not in a weird way though. You just have to keep control of the situation and usually vips rooms just mean dances and great conversation. You never so anythoing your uncomforatble with and doing vip room work should never mean anything other than conversation and dances.
Stripper Income 3. Combination of dances & Vip room Sit downs
I tend to work both dances and sit downs, it keeps the shift varied and interesting and can result in good income at the end of the night.

My audition went great as soon as I walked in the building my nerves were gone I had a great time dancing and ended up working the entire night. It was a different experience than I was expecting but for the better.
A lot of the men really just wanted like companionship it was nice cuz I really enjoy talking to people. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that I got hired had a great time and wanted to say thank you for all of your advice.

Is it common to tip the staff at the end of the night? I’ve heard of tipping DJ’s, doormen, etc. for them to steer the right people your way and if so, how much is typical?

Tipping is very dependant on the club…in some clubs $20 is ok and in others $5 is ok.it all depends on what kind of money the club makes. If you are new to the club, I would watch the other girls…tipping in some clubs of certain people doesnt happen,you need to watch. When you are new it wont matter as you can and will be forgiven…also if you have had a great night and they know it, you may have to tip a little more, maybe $10-20 more…again it all depends on the club and how much money you have made. Watch girls who have good relationships with the Dj and doormen and if possible ask her how much to tip.#
Also if they are bringing you customers then you should tip them well. You will know this by watching the best girl in your club.

Just to answer something more….It also depends on how much you make.If you make 1000 and tip 20 you will not feel it, bt if you have only made a 100 and tip 20 it will feel crap. So tip reasonably
the club where i dance at, DOES NOT EVER require ANY of the dancers to tip ANY of the club staff if they dont want to! although i have found it to be better if you do decide to, because then the so-called “Balla’s” are then sent your way. meaning more money for you!

What if there is more than one person sitting at the table? who do you decide who you go to to ask if they want a private dance? and if they say no, wouldn’t the other guests feel hurt that you didn’t ask THEM if they wanted a private dance? they might not want one from you later on if they feel insulted, no??

Hi Elvi, If there is more than one person at a table, I talk to all of tehm and see who gives me the most interest. I then approach them and see. But because I have talked to all of them, I am able to speak to them too without feeling bad about it

Always start dealing with an innappropriate customer at first with humour, then with blaming it on management, camaras and then if it continues, just leave as you will either get fired or will feel like crap if you give in. Its not worth your job or dignity.

You can pick up the money at teh end of your dance or you can incorperate it into your dancing and make it look natural. It is totally up to you

Can you explain how the fees toward the club work?
Like many that have posted, my back is against the wall. Just received an eviction notice and I do not know what to do. Praying helps to ease my mind, but right now I need cash because the judge does not want to hear about that. I have a little pudge in my middle, i’m an honest 12, 36ddd, small behind,hips and i’m a chocolate girl…i don’t know where to begin. any tips would be great

I am sos orry you are in this position. Ok this is what you need to do. Like I tell all girls who need money now…do not start danicng as you may end up owning mroe debt. Get a job to get out of teh immediate crisis and start working when you can do it as an extra. Can you get a job which you can get paid weekely?
Then phone the judge/court and get time to pay , even if it is increments. Remember to throw you out and get nothing is worse for them then if you pay slowly
So what you need to do is get a quick paying job which will help you get out of your hole and then
you need to start working in a strip club at the weekends. Also you will not be able to work with pugde on yoru stomach sorry to say, so diet and run and sit ups an crunches . Do at least 100 a day ocrunches and leg lifts ( not all at once maybe 20 at a time) you will get that body quickly

The best way to learn how to give a great lapdance is to watch the girls in your club once you get hired. That is how I learnt it
Explaining is quite difficult, as it is hard to explain movement in words, although if anyone else can give it go, please be my guest.
You will make money but it’s not in your lapdance, its in the way you sell your lapdance

Practice in your room until you feel some comfort doing it, watching outube videos.
Clubs do not expect you to be perfect as they know girls are new, so most clubs will understand that

It does get better Lexis, and it will.
The painful ankles and feet, you can get more comfortable shoes. You can get ones with platforms so your feet are more supported but you will still get the height
Also you do get used to it as you do it for longer, biut I would get mroe comfortable shoes with a higher platform

Hi..I just lost my job and feeling really bad..bills are steadily piling and I’ve always been interested in dancing. I was told at the clubs where I’m located at they no longer do auditions..just come fill out a application. New to me! So to make a long story short..when I fill out the application am I immediately hired?

When you go and fill out an application, you can ask them what happens next. they may just say you can start or may invite you for an audition

I have to choose between two clubs. One has a tip out and probably a fee like you explained but is high end. The other is low end but doesn’t have a tip out. Which should I go with? I mean, if I have to pay close enough to half the money that I earn in tip outs and fees, THEN have to tip DJs and bouncers and stuff (I don’t know if it’s required at this bar but I still would) then wouldn’t I technically be making just as much as if I were to dance at the shackier place?

Firstly your website has been a great help, although I have my own personal questions to ask;
i applied at a gentlemen’s club in my area, there are 3 here and are at all different levels, i chose the one that is the most classy of the 3. a girl I know through a friend works there, i went in, saw her, and spoke to the manager. I was asked to come in the following week for lessons and was asked to start the night of my lessons, i didn’t call back, but i am calling back today.
the reason i didn’t call back is because of my appearance, i have short hair and tattoos, my friend that works there also has tattoos, although i am the only one with short hair. I also have acne, not heaps, but i do have some on my back, this has been a problem for me for a long time, will this affect my work?

hi, i just started dancing. Its been four days, and i’m not making shit, everyone seems to like me and I’ve been told it will get better.
I wear glasses and the guys like it a lot.
But i also feel uncomfortable with my lap dance giving skills. one songs seems so fast, i feel like im jiping the guys.
my club has a minimum for dances, so i don’t have to haggle too much which is good, i’m pretty shy.
I also realized that i haven’t been tipping any one at the end of the night. I had heard about tip outs, but i plum forgot. people just starting should take little notes to bring with them to the club, this site was extremely helpful.
so far im not making hardly enough to pay my fees, let alone tip people.
but like i said, I’m pretty shy. and i’ve just been making friends and hangin out.
Oh and to all the girls that are worried about being chubby, having stretch marks, short hair, or whatever, it doesn’t matter.I was worried at first too. a ton of girls at my club look like ghouls outside of the magic lights of the club.
just work on yourself, you gotta work out and eat right, even if you dont get naked for a living.

What you are saying is true and that is why some girls work in places like that. It is totally up to you. The clubs that charge, do so usually because they get the customers that will pay higher amounts of money.

I have been a dancer for about a month now. When I first started, I was making a good amount of money per night. I would just ask the guys what their names were and if they wanted a dance and they would say yes. I was too shy to do the whole “flirting and rubbing their leg thing.” After the first weekend I started working at 2 busier clubs and made significantly less than I did the first weekend. Example, I went to this club that was packed, spent 7 hours there, asked about 60-70 guys for a dance and got 3 yes’s. I walked out with $50. Not an exaggeration whatsoever. I got 3 dances on the dance sheet. I looked on the dance sheet and no other dancer left with less than $200 that night. I watch what the other girls do, but the music is so loud I can never hear what they say. I especially watch all the ones who ask a guy who previously said no to me, but says yes to a new dancer 5 minutes after I leave. It happened a lot this particular night.
I literally went in the manager’s office and started crying. He told me it has nothing to do with my looks, just that I didn’t know how to flirt. I haven’t changed anything about my appearance since I first started dancing, the only thing different is that now I will actually sit with the customer and ask how they’re day is and where they are from, small talk. Still doesn’t work. I have a sweet voice, I thought maybe guys think I’m too nice and won’t give them a naughty dance.. Which is why I need help on what to say and how to speak.
My question is, what are a few things I can say to sell a customer on a dance while being flirty? I obviously can’t ask the other girls what they say (they always look at me as immediate competition) but they are definitely saying the right things. My self esteem has gone so low…please HELP!

This is in reply to Ashley and any other girls worried about auditioning.
I went into the club I was interesting in working at before I first auditioned(which was actually my first time EVER at a strip club) and just sat and watched for a few hrs and got the feel of how the girls danced, what they wore, and how they acted.
I then went in and did amateur night a few weeks later, still feeling like I didn’t know what I was doing! I picked one of my favorite songs to dance to and just did it! I ended up messing up a little but it you just smile and kind of laugh it off it’s no big deal! I ended up winning amateur night. I’ve now been dancing several months.
My biggest tips to girls who are auditioning, make sure you feel sexy before going on stage, pick a good song that you know well, always try to smile on stage(a sexy half smile while you’re dancing is always fantastic, and be slow(you’re there to seduce the audience, not dance at a club) oh dont forget to take your clothes off! Ive seen it happen.

My question is in reference to the hours. I’m in the Army on twelve hour rotating shifts from days to nights every two weeks and this includes weekends. Sufficed to say, my hours are f* up.
1) Have there been other military women in this sort of business? I don’t believe that it’s against our regulations when out of uniform.
2) How will clubs deal with the hours? What are they willing to accept?

OK so 1st things1st nobody is perfect and as far as looks go there are several different types of ladies out here and trust me when i say EVERY guy likes different types of women, some guys like small cups and big butts others like no butt and huge boobs some like no boobs and no butt!

Hi! Im new to stripping and will have my auditions in a few days…i was just wondering why is it different deals in my case than other girls. Like for example, they said they will pay me 100 dollars guarantee for 2 songs on stage and get to keep the tips plus the chance of 1000 dollar amateur prize instead of paying a house fee. And when i applied, they said i cant choose the clubs I work in because only my agent can book me to these venues. Its a full nude but no touch sort of dance, no lap dances just champagne rooms and so on, but im afraid that this sounds a bit too good to be true because i never heard of agencies for strippers before and if there is, how do they make money from me? im an amateur with 32b in canada btw….
